Here is How GTA 6 will Look Like When Its Out

GTA 6 looks to be the first game to have a female protagonist, according to a significant leak of screenshots and videos from the game called “one of the biggest in video game history.” A user of “Teapotuberhacker” submitted supposed gameplay footage from GTA 6, one of the most eagerly awaited video games in recent memory, to a well-known gaming community.

The 3GB file featured 90 movies identified as GTA 6 footage, quickly extensively disseminated over the weekend on Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms.

The leak also appeared to suggest that the game will be partially set in Vice City, a fictionalised version of Miami, Florida, which served as the setting for the 2002 version of GTA: Vice City, along with clips of a female playable character named Lucia.

Rockstar Games, the company that created Grand Theft Auto, acknowledged that the GTA 6 leak was accurate and expressed its “great disappointment” over the game’s early disclosure.

The company claimed, “We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorised third party fraudulently gained access to and stole proprietary information from our systems, including early development files for the future Grand Theft Auto.”

Neither a disruption of our live game services nor any long-term effects on the development of our ongoing initiatives are currently anticipated by us. As planned, we’ll keep working on the future Grand Theft Auto game. We remain fully devoted to providing our players with an experience that significantly exceeds their expectations.

The movie is obviously premature and unfinished, as Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier noted in a tweet on Sunday. One of the biggest leaks in video game history, this is a disaster for Rockstar Games.

This is a nightmare for Rockstar for several reasons. One is that it will temporarily disrupt work. Another is that management can decide to restrict the freedom of working from home. The effects of this breach might not become apparent for some time.

Rockstar Games typically declines to comment on leaks, but The Independent has reached out to Take-Two Interactive’s legal team for more details regarding the hack.

A large number of uploaded YouTube videos have already been removed, with a warning reading: “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Taking 2 Interactive.

The sequel to GTA 5 has been under development for several years; it’s anticipated to be released in 2023 or 2024.

According to a different leak from earlier this year, the massively popular game will permit the use of a cryptocurrency as an in-game currency that players can earn and spend.

Early gameplay footage totalling roughly 3GB was made available by the user @teapotuberhacker. Rockstar Games is concerned that other sensitive information, including the source code for GTA V and VI, game assets, and test builds, may have also been compromised due to this attack.

Only the source code for GTA 6 was proven to have the hacker “Tea Pot,” who claimed to have the source codes for the other games. He was hoping to work out a deal with Rockstar to sell it. As a result of this mishap, the hacker’s name was used in a $100,000 fraud.

The hacker received over 3,000 emails and telegrammed messages from YouTube alerting them that the video clips had been removed.

Numerous rumours that surfaced throughout the years were validated by the videos. Like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City from 2002, the game is set in Miami. Jason and Lucia, the protagonists, are their names.

In one of the films, Lucia can be seen attempting to loot a restaurant; a police chase follows. Jason was caught trying to participate in a drive-by shooting in another video.

The leaked videos have been removed, and Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive, its principal backer, are working to halt their distribution. Such a disclosure might destroy one of the most legendary video game franchises.

The sixth game in the Grand Theft Auto series is GTA VI, also referred to as Grand Theft Auto VI.

The Open World feature of Grand Theft Auto games is renowned for providing players with the ability to do whatever. The franchise’s most recent game, GTA V, was released for consoles in 2013.

GTA VI is presently under development and has not yet received a guaranteed release date. It is licenced by Rockstar Games.
